Maybe a lottery?

Like, every month you can pay a set number of rings to buy a lottery ticket, and on each ticket is a number between 1 and 30 (considering the number of players, this may be increased according to new players signing up) and on the last day of the month Master Sonic or Lord Alpha will pick a completely random number between 1 and [insert number of players at the end of the month here] i dunno maybe roll a number on this and pay out a large number of rings to whoever's number matches the one rolled or guessed. put your lottery ticket number (be honest!) a week to a day before the last day of the month, or even if your number DOES match, if you don't post it a week to a day before the lucky number is drawn, you won't get the jackpot. (security reasons.)
